loving embroidery

now were off for 3 weeks! that meens lots of time to sit and embroider my fashion pieces which i absolutely love doing. i've used digital print on my first 2 designs and i love it, it looks so professional and links in with my trend perfectly so i think il be using this on my last 2 designs after christmas. Sooo excited for them to be finished and if im lucky they might be chosen for indigo when we go to Paris in february!  

I also forgot to mention one of my final samples from the previous interiors project got chosen by trend bible and is going to be put in their trend book which i am so happy about! 

Fashion!

So we have began our fashion module and i am really enjoying the fact we got to choose our own trend! i have based mine on the patterns and textures found in nature and have really enjoyed goin out with my camera and taking lots of photographs! im really excited to start producing my final embellished designs.

  Here are my two final furnishing designs from the end of my first year both inspired by the theme ‘chinoiserie’, after spending hours and hours painting in all the tiny details i was quite happy with the way they had turned out especially the design with the bird and cage

I love this gorgeous wallpaper by designer Catherine Hammerton, i like how her designs are pretty and feminine.
